This assignment is a meta-analysis of a series of external evaluations of Plan UK projects and pieces of research that Plan UK has carried out over the last two years. The review aims to draw out the learning from different evaluations, research reports and case studies to better understand and evidence the changes that are happening in the lives of adolescent girls as a result of Plan UK’s work. More specifically, the analysis will capture how adolescent girls’ themselves are seeing change happen in selected projects across our portfolio, and their view of Plan UK’s contribution to those changes.
The meta evaluation will consist of two main stages:
An initial mapping of the evidence available to select what will be included in the meta-analysis, based on an inclusion criteria agreed with Plan UK
Meta-analysis of the evidence selected to draw out key learning on the changes that are happening in the lives of adolescent girls as a result of Plan UK’s work
The approach and focus of the evaluation will be refined following the initial mapping exercise.
A draft report of no more than 25 pages, not including annexes will include:
Analysis of the changes that are taking place in girls lives through Plan UK’s work
