Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Specialist

£21,560 pro-rata (full-time equivalent of £42,505 per annum)

Plan International UK is looking for an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist to play a key role in supporting design and overseeing the sophisticated MEL systems and processes required to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, quality and performance of ANRIN, a large scale nutrition/health programme in Nigeria.

In this role, you will support our Country Office in developing the M&E system towards effective & efficient performance management as well as sustainable impact evaluation.

You will therefore have a proven track record of establishing and implementing MEL frameworks within large scale, complex, multi-year development programmes, preferably focused nutrition and/ or public health. You will have experience of MEL in PBR/results-based programmes in a developing country setting, and experience of commissioning and/or supervising monitoring and evaluation work by others.

You will be able to demonstrate exceptional quantitative and qualitative data processing and analysis skills, including adapting/developing monitoring tools and surveys.

The role will be based in London and will involve working closely with our Country Office, with some field visits required (Covid-19 contingent). Field visits may include travel to remote and unstable regions.
